  • Rice

    • 🍚 2 bowls of warm rice (300g)
  • Meat

    • 100g ground pork
  • Vegetables

    • đź§… 1/4 onion (50g), minced
    • 1 piece of ginger, minced
  • Oil

    • 1 tsp salad oil
  • Seaweed

    • đźź© 1/2 sheet of nori, cut into strips
  • Seasoning

    • 1 tbsp sake
    • 1 tbsp mirin
    • 🍬 1/2 tsp sugar
    • đź§‚ 1 tbsp soy sauce

Mince the onion and ginger.

Cut the nori into 4 horizontal strips.

Heat salad oil in a pan over medium heat. Add ginger and onion, sauté until fragrant and softened for about 1 minute. Add ground pork and cook until the meat changes color. Add sake, mirin, sugar, and soy sauce, then stir-fry until the liquid evaporates. Let the soboro cool.

Mix the soboro with warm rice in a bowl using a cutting motion.

Place 1/4 of the soboro rice mixture on a piece of plastic wrap. Shape into a log and wrap with a strip of nori. Repeat to make 4 onigiri.
