INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 🥩 600g thinly sliced beef
- 🍄 200g maitake mushrooms
- 🍄 1 pack shimeji mushrooms
- 🍄 100g enoki mushrooms
- 🥕 1 daikon radish (1200g)
- 70g seri greens
- 🥕 1 carrot
- 1 tsp sansho pepper
- 🥚 4 eggs
Sauce
- 100cc mirin
- đź§‚ 3 tbsp sugar
- 100cc soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp dashi granules
- đź’§ 100cc water
STEPS
Separate maitake into small clusters, trim shimeji roots, and divide into small clusters. Tear enoki into bite-sized pieces.
Peel daikon and cut into 4cm-long sticks. Trim seri roots and cut into 4cm pieces. Peel carrot and cut into 4cm-long sticks.
Combine all sauce ingredients in a small pot and heat over medium until simmering. Reduce to low heat and simmer for 1-2 minutes to create the sukiyaki sauce.
In a sukiyaki pan, add the sauce, sansho pepper, and beef. Sear the beef and add other ingredients. Simmer over low heat until cooked through. Serve with eggs for dipping.
