    • 10 cm grated yam (100g)
  • Seafood

    • 🐟 120g tuna sashimi
  • Condiments

    • Chopped seaweed, as needed
    • Wasabi, as needed
  • Seasoning

    • 1 tsp soy sauce
    • 1/2 tsp Japanese dashi powder
    • 💧 2 tbsp water

Wash the yam thoroughly to remove dirt. Lightly roast the hairy roots over low heat on a stove, then wash off the roots with water.

Grate the yam using a grater.

Mix the seasoning ingredients (soy sauce, dashi powder, and water) in a microwave-safe container and heat at 600W for 30 seconds. Stir to dissolve.

Add the grated yam to a mortar and mix until smooth. Gradually add the prepared seasoning mixture and mix well.

Cut the tuna into bite-sized pieces. Place the yam mixture in a serving bowl, top with tuna, chopped seaweed, and a small amount of wasabi.
