    • 🐟 2 fillets (160g) mackerel
  • Vegetables

    • 🍄 50g shimeji mushrooms
    • 🥦 1/2 head broccoli
  • Seasonings

    • 1 tbsp sake
    • 🧂 1 tsp sugar
    • 2 tsp soy sauce
    • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
    • 🍅 2 tbsp ketchup
    • 🧄 1/3 tsp grated garlic
    • 1/3 tsp grated ginger
    • 150ml water

Trim the root of the shimeji mushrooms and separate them. Cut the broccoli into small florets, slice the stem into thirds, peel the tough parts, and cut into bite-sized pieces.

Score the skin of the mackerel fillets with a cross pattern. Boil water in a pot and briefly blanch the mackerel.

Add all seasoning ingredients (☆) to a frying pan and heat until bubbling. Place the mackerel skin-side up, spoon the sauce over the skin, and cook until the color changes. Add broccoli and shimeji mushrooms, cover, and simmer on low heat for 10 minutes.
