    • 🍚 2 bowls cooked rice (400g)
  • Protein

    • 1 packet minced soy meat
  • Vegetables

    • 50g diced bamboo shoots
    • 🍄 3 shiitake mushrooms, diced
  • Seasoning

    • 1/2 tsp grated ginger
    • đź§„ 1/3 tsp grated garlic
    • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • Sauce

    • 1 tbsp sake
    • đź§‚ 1 tbsp sugar
    • 1 tbsp soy sauce
    • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
    • đź’§ 100ml water
  • Toppings

    • 🥚 1 soft-boiled egg
    • Chopped cilantro, as needed

Dice bamboo shoots into 1cm cubes. Trim shiitake stems and dice both stems and caps into 1cm pieces.

Heat sesame oil in a pan over medium heat. Add minced soy meat, bamboo shoots, shiitake mushrooms, grated ginger, and garlic. Stir-fry until well combined.

Add sauce ingredients (sake, sugar, soy sauce, oyster sauce, water) and mix. Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer on low heat for 5 minutes. Remove the lid and cook on medium heat until the sauce reduces by half.

Serve cooked rice in bowls. Top with the soy meat mixture and drizzle with sauce. Add a soft-boiled egg and garnish with chopped cilantro.
