- Lotus root 200g (sliced into rounds)
Condiments
- Tempura flour 50g
- đź’§ Cold water 50ml
- Frying oil (as needed)

STEPS
Slice the lotus root into rounds and soak in water for about 10 minutes to remove bitterness.
Mix the tempura flour and cold water to make the batter.
Coat the lotus root with the batter and fry in preheated oil at 170°C.
Drain the fried lotus root on a paper towel and sprinkle with salt to finish.
