INGREDIENTS

- 🍗 9 chicken wings
- Adequate amount of cornstarch
Seasoning
- đź§‚ 1/2 tbsp salt
- 5 dashes black pepper
- 3 tbsp cooking wine
Sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp corn syrup
- đź§„ 3 cloves garlic
- đź’§ 5-6 tbsp water
STEPS
Soak 9 chicken wings in milk for 20 minutes to remove odor. If frozen, thaw in milk.
Rinse the chicken wings and marinate with 3 tbsp cooking wine, 1/2 tbsp salt, and 5 dashes of black pepper for 20 minutes.
Add adequate cornstarch to a plastic bag, shake the wings inside to coat evenly.
Heat cooking oil and fry the wings on low heat until golden and cooked through.
In a separate pan, combine 2 tbsp soy sauce, 5-6 tbsp water, 1 tbsp sugar, 2 tbsp corn syrup, and 3 cloves of minced garlic. Bring to a boil.
Coat the fried chicken wings with the prepared sauce.
Serve and enjoy the sweet and savory Kyochon-style chicken.
