INGREDIENTS
Seaweed
- 1 pack dried seaweed
Pollack
- 1 handful dried pollack
Seasoning
- đź§„ 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp doenjang (Korean soybean paste)
- đź§‚ 1 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp sesame oil
STEPS
Soak dried seaweed and dried pollack in water until softened.
Rinse the soaked seaweed thoroughly and cut into bite-sized pieces.
Check the soaked pollack for bones and cut into bite-sized pieces.
Heat sesame oil in a pot and stir-fry the pollack on high heat for 1 minute.
Add the prepared seaweed to the pot and stir-fry for about 5 minutes.
Add 1 cup of water to the pot and continue cooking for another 5 minutes.
Add minced garlic and doenjang to the pot and stir well.
Gradually add more water (about 2 cups) and simmer for 10 minutes.
Season with soy sauce and salt, adjusting to taste.
Simmer for another 10 minutes and serve hot.
