INGREDIENTS

  • Noodles

    • 🍜 100g somyeon noodles
  • Vegetables

    • 🥬 1/2 cup kimchi
    • 🥒 4 slices cucumber
  • Seasoning

    • 1 tbsp gochujang
    • 1/3 tbsp red pepper powder
    • đź§‚ 1 tbsp soy sauce
    • 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
    • 🍶 1–2 tbsp vinegar
    • 1/2–1 tbsp sesame oil
  • Extras

    • đź§Š 7 ice cubes
    • 🌰 A pinch of sesame seeds
  • Cooking Water

    • đź’§ 1L water
    • đź’§ 1 cup cold water

STEPS

Mix all seasoning ingredients together in a bowl.

Slice the cucumber diagonally and julienne it.

Chop the kimchi into small pieces.

Boil the noodles in 1L of water.

When the water boils, add 1/2 cup cold water. Repeat twice until fully cooked.

Rinse the cooked noodles in cold water or ice water to remove starch.

Drain the noodles and mix them with kimchi and seasoning in a bowl.

Plate the noodles, garnish with cucumber slices, and add ice cubes around.
