INGREDIENTS
Vegetables
- 🥒 1 cucumber
- 🍅 1 ripe tomato
- đź§‚ a pinch of salt
Seasonings
- 🍬 2 tsp sugar
- 🌰 2 tbsp ground sesame seeds
- 2 tsp rice vinegar
- đź§‚ 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
STEPS
Wash the cucumber and tomato thoroughly. Remove any rough parts on the cucumber's surface.
Cut the cucumber in half and remove the seeds.
Slice the cucumber into 1.5 cm pieces.
Mix the cucumber slices with a pinch of salt and let them sit for 10 minutes.
Pat the cucumber slices dry with a paper towel and place them in a bowl.
Cut the tomato into quarters and then halve each quarter. Remove the seeds.
Prepare the dressing by mixing sugar, ground sesame seeds, rice vinegar, soy sauce, and sesame oil in a small bowl.
Combine the cucumber and tomato in a large bowl.
Pour the dressing over the vegetables and toss gently to coat evenly.
Transfer the salad to a serving plate and enjoy.
