INGREDIENTS
Main
- 🥔 2 medium potatoes (300g)
- 5g dried hijiki
Seasoning
- đź§‚ 1/4 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tbsp concentrated soy sauce
- 1 tbsp ground sesame seeds
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise
Garnish
- đź§… Chopped green onion, as needed
STEPS
Soak dried hijiki in plenty of water according to package instructions. Drain thoroughly.
Cut potatoes into six pieces and soak in water for 5 minutes. Drain and place in a pot with enough water to cover. Boil over medium heat, then cover and simmer on low for 8–10 minutes until tender.
Drain potatoes and return to the pot. Heat over medium while stirring until they become dry and white. Transfer to a bowl and let cool slightly.
Mix the potatoes with hijiki and the seasoning ingredients (sugar, soy sauce, sesame seeds, mayonnaise).
Serve on a plate and garnish with chopped green onion.
