INGREDIENTS
Main
- 🐟 4 sardines, opened (320g)
- 1/2 red bell pepper, sliced (75g)
- 1/2 yellow bell pepper, sliced (75g)
- 🧅 1/2 onion, thinly sliced (100g)
- 🧂 Pinch of salt
- 2 tbsp potato starch
- 3 tbsp salad oil
Sauce
- 🍬 2 tbsp sugar
- 5 tbsp vinegar
- 4 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp sliced chili
- 💧 150 ml water
STEPS
Slice the red and yellow bell peppers thinly. Thinly slice the onion.
Pat the sardines dry with paper towels. Sprinkle with salt and coat evenly with potato starch.
Mix the sauce ingredients in a tray and add the sliced peppers and onion to marinate.
Heat salad oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the sardines until golden brown and cooked through, about 3–5 minutes.
While the sardines are still hot, add them to the marinated vegetables and coat them with the sauce.
