- 🌾 40g all-purpose flour
STEPS
Wash the island shallots in water, rubbing gently to remove the thin skin. Trim the root ends.
In a bowl, mix the beaten egg and water. Add the all-purpose flour and mix lightly to create the batter.
Heat salad oil in a pot to 170°C. Dip the shallots in the batter and fry them until golden brown.
Serve on a plate and sprinkle with salt to taste.
