INGREDIENTS

- 1 large tofu pocket (150g)
- đź§€ 2 slices of melting cheese
Miso Filling
- đź§… 1/4 stalk minced green onion (40g)
- 🍬 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/3 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tbsp miso
Toppings
- Pinch of black pepper
- đź§… Chopped green onion for garnish
STEPS
Cut the tofu pocket in half horizontally and open it. Remove a square section from the right side, leaving a 2cm border.
Mix the minced green onion, sugar, grated ginger, and miso in a microwave-safe container. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and microwave at 600W for 1 minute. Stir to combine.
Place the tofu pocket on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Spread the miso filling evenly inside, add the cheese slices, and close the pocket.
Toast in a toaster oven for 3–5 minutes until golden brown. Garnish with chopped green onion and sprinkle black pepper.
