INGREDIENTS
Meat
- 50g ground pork
Tofu
- 1 piece (200g) thick fried tofu
Vegetables
- đź§… 1/2 stalk (80g) green onion
Cheese / Dairy
- đź§€ 20g pizza cheese
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp sake
- đź§‚ 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp miso
- 1/3 tsp grated ginger
- 1/2 tbsp potato starch
STEPS
Cut the green onion in half lengthwise and slice thinly at an angle. Wipe the oil off the thick fried tofu with a paper towel and cut into bite-sized pieces.
In a microwave-safe container, mix the seasonings (sake, sugar, miso, grated ginger, potato starch). Add ground pork and green onion, breaking up the meat as you mix. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and microwave at 600W for 3 minutes.
Arrange the thick fried tofu on a heatproof plate, top with the pork mixture and pizza cheese. Toast in a toaster oven for about 6 minutes until the cheese is golden brown.
