- 🌱 200g green peas
- đź§‚ 1 pinch salt
Dashi
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- đź§‚ 1/3 tsp salt
- 1/3 tsp Japanese dashi granules
- đź’§ 200ml water
STEPS
Boil water in a pot, add a pinch of salt and green peas. Cook for 3–4 minutes, then drain and rinse under cold water.
Wipe the pot dry and add the dashi ingredients (sugar, salt, dashi granules, and water). Heat over medium heat until it comes to a boil, then remove from heat and transfer to a heatproof container.
Add the green peas to the dashi mixture and let them sit until cooled to room temperature.
