Garlic Stir-fried Lettuce and Pork Belly

INGREDIENTS

  • Meat

    • 🐖 100g thinly sliced pork belly
  • Vegetables

    • 🥬 5 leaves (150g) lettuce, outer leaves
    • 🧄 1/2 clove garlic, thinly sliced
  • Oils

    • 1 tsp salad oil
  • Seasonings

    • 1 tbsp sake
    • 1/2 tsp chicken broth powder
    • 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
    • A pinch of pepper

Cut the lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Remove the core from the garlic and slice it thinly.

Cut the pork belly into 4cm wide strips.

Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium-low heat. Add garlic and pork, and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until the edges of the pork become crispy.

Remove excess oil with a paper towel. Add the seasonings (sake, chicken broth powder, salt, and pepper) and stir quickly. Add lettuce and stir-fry briefly to combine.
