INGREDIENTS
Fish
- 🐟 4 pieces of mackerel fillets (320g)
Oil
- As needed salad oil
Seasoning
- 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
Garlic Miso Sauce
- 2 tbsp sake
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 3 tbsp miso
- 🧄 1/2 tsp grated garlic
STEPS
Sprinkle the mackerel fillets with salt and let them sit for 10 minutes. Pat dry with a paper towel.
In a bowl, mix sake, sugar, miso, and grated garlic to create the garlic miso sauce.
Brush the garlic miso sauce onto both sides of the mackerel fillets.
Heat salad oil in a pan over medium heat. Place the mackerel fillets skin-side down and cook until golden brown.
Flip the fillets and cook the other side until fully cooked and caramelized.
