  • Fish

    • 🐟 200g frozen mackerel fillets
  • Vegetables

    • 🧅 80g green onion, cut into 4cm pieces
    • 1 piece ginger, thinly sliced
  • Liquid

    • 2 tbsp sake
    • 💧 200ml water
  • Seasoning

    • 2 tbsp miso
    • 2 tbsp mirin
    • 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
    • 1/2 tbsp soy sauce

Cut the green onion into 4cm pieces and slice the ginger thinly.

In a frying pan, add frozen mackerel, green onion, ginger, sake, and water. Heat over medium heat until boiling, then skim off any foam.

Add the seasoning ingredients (miso, mirin, sugar, soy sauce) and bring to a boil again.

Reduce to low heat, cover with a drop lid, and simmer for 10 minutes.
