STEPS
Rinse perilla leaves thoroughly under running water 2-3 times.
Blanch the cleaned perilla leaves in boiling water for 1 minute.
Drain the blanched perilla leaves and gently squeeze out excess water.
Heat 1 tbsp sesame oil in a pan and stir-fry the blanched perilla leaves.
Season with soy sauce and a pinch of salt to taste.
Add perilla seed powder and stir-fry briefly before turning off the heat.
Mix in 1 tbsp sesame oil after turning off the heat for extra fragrance.
