  • Vegetables

  • Seasoning

    • 1 tbsp sake
    • đź§‚ Pinch of salt and pepper
    • 1 tbsp potato starch
  • Cooking Oil

    • 1 tbsp salad oil
  • Teriyaki Sauce

    • 1 tbsp sake
    • 2 tbsp mirin
    • 🍬 1 tsp sugar
    • đź§‚ 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • Topping

    • Mayonnaise as needed

Mince the green onion.

Place the hanpen in a plastic bag and knead until smooth.

Add ground pork, minced onion, sake, salt, pepper, and potato starch to the bag. Knead until sticky. Cut off one corner of the bag.

Heat salad oil in a frying pan. Pipe 12 portions of the mixture into the pan, shaping them into rounds. Cook over medium heat until browned, then flip and cover. Steam on low heat for 3 minutes.

Add the teriyaki sauce ingredients to the pan and simmer over medium heat until thickened.

Plate the tsukune and drizzle with mayonnaise.
