INGREDIENTS
Tofu
- 🧈 300g firm tofu
Vegetables
- 150g grated daikon radish
- Chopped green onion, as needed
Seasoning
- 200ml dashi stock
- 🧂 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp sake
Thickener
- 1/2 tbsp potato starch
- 💧 1/2 tbsp water
STEPS
Cut the tofu in half lengthwise, then slice into 1.5cm thick pieces.
Grate the daikon radish and drain excess water.
In a pot, combine dashi stock, soy sauce, and sake. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then add the tofu and bring to a boil again. Reduce to low heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
Add the potato starch mixture to the pot and stir gently over medium heat until thickened.
Serve in bowls, topped with grated daikon radish and chopped green onion.
