INGREDIENTS
Vegetables
- 🍆 5 medium eggplants (about 400g)
Protein
- 100g ground meat (beef and pork mix)
Dairy
- đź§€ 40g shredded pizza cheese
Seasonings
- đź§‚ A pinch of salt
- A pinch of black pepper
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- đź’§ 2 tbsp water for steaming
Curry Sauce
- 2 tsp curry powder
- 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
STEPS
Cut the eggplants into slices about 1 cm thick.
Heat olive oil in a pan and cook the ground meat until browned.
Mix curry powder, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce in a small bowl to make the curry sauce.
Layer the eggplant slices, cooked ground meat, and curry sauce in a deep pan.
Add 2 tbsp of water to the pan, cover, and steam over medium heat for 10 minutes.
Sprinkle shredded cheese on top, cover, and steam for another 5 minutes until the cheese melts.
