INGREDIENTS
Meat
- 250g ground meat
Vegetables
- đź§… 1/2 onion, minced
- 4 cabbage leaves
- 1 pack shimeji mushrooms
Seasoning
- 1 tsp consomme
- đź’§ 300cc water
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Chopped parsley, a pinch
Meat Mixture
- 🥚 1 egg
- đź§‚ 1/3 tsp salt
- A pinch of pepper
- A pinch of nutmeg
- 🥛 2 tbsp milk
- 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
Cream Sauce
- 200g white sauce
- 🥛 100cc milk
- đź§‚ 1/4 tsp salt
- A pinch of pepper
STEPS
Prepare the cabbage by trimming the thick stems and mincing them. Mince the onion and separate the shimeji mushrooms.
Boil the cabbage leaves until tender, drain, and let them cool.
Mix ground meat, minced onion, minced cabbage stems, and meat mixture seasonings in a bowl until sticky. Divide into 4 portions.
Place a portion of meat mixture on a cabbage leaf, fold the sides, and roll tightly. Repeat for all leaves.
Heat olive oil in a pan, sauté shimeji mushrooms until tender, add consomme and water, and place the cabbage rolls seam-side down. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
Add cream sauce ingredients and simmer until thickened.
Serve the rolls on a plate and garnish with parsley.
