Remove the beans from the broad bean pods. Boil water in a pot, add salt (1/2 tsp), shrimp, and broad beans. Cook until the shrimp change color, then drain.

Peel the skins off the broad beans once they have cooled slightly.

In a frying pan, bring water, milk, and consomme to a boil. Break the spaghetti in half and add it to the pan. Cover and cook on low heat, stirring occasionally, for the time indicated on the pasta package.

Add grated cheese and stir to evaporate excess liquid. Mix in the broad beans, shrimp, and season with salt and pepper.
