    • 🌽 1 ear of corn (300g)
    • 1 tbsp salted kelp
    • 1 tbsp tempura flour
    • sufficient salad oil for frying
  • Batter

    • 40g tempura flour
    • đź’§ 70cc cold water

Cut the corn into 3 equal parts, place the cut side down, and shave off the kernels.

Place the corn kernels, salted kelp, and 1 tbsp tempura flour into a plastic bag and coat the corn evenly with the flour.

In a bowl, mix the batter ingredients (40g tempura flour and 70cc cold water) lightly, then add the corn mixture and combine.

Heat salad oil in a pot to 160°C (2cm depth). Drop spoonfuls of the mixture into the oil and fry for about 5 minutes, flipping occasionally, until lightly golden.
