INGREDIENTS

  • Dough

    • 200g bread flour
    • đź§‚ 30g sugar
    • đź§‚ 4g salt
    • 4g instant dry yeast
    • 🥚 30g egg
    • 🥛 100g warm milk
    • 30g unsalted butter
  • Filling

    • 3 tbsp condensed milk
    • đź§‚ 3 tbsp sugar
  • Condensed Milk Sauce

    • 40g unsalted butter
    • 40g condensed milk

STEPS

Ensure yeast does not directly touch salt or sugar when adding to the bowl.

Mix all ingredients except butter and knead for 5 minutes by hand or mixer.

Add butter and knead for 15–20 minutes until smooth.

Cover dough with plastic wrap and let it rise in a warm place (40°C) for 50 minutes.

Deflate the dough gently and divide into 3 equal portions. Shape into balls.

Cover dough balls with plastic wrap and let them rest for 15 minutes.

Prepare condensed milk sauce by mixing melted butter and condensed milk.

Spread 2 tbsp of condensed milk sauce in each baking tin (15.5cmĂ—8.9cmĂ—4.3cm).

Roll dough into 12cmĂ—20cm rectangles. Spread 1 tbsp condensed milk and sprinkle 1 tbsp sugar on each.

Roll dough tightly and cut into 2cm slices.

Place slices into prepared tins and cover with plastic wrap. Let rise in a warm place (40°C) for 40 minutes.

Brush tops with milk and bake at 170°C for 15 minutes until golden brown.

Brush remaining condensed milk sauce on hot bread.
