INGREDIENTS

- 3 pieces chikuwa
- đź§€ 2 pieces processed cheese
- 10g bonito flakes
- sufficient amount of salad oil
Batter
- 3 tbsp flour
- 1 tsp mayonnaise
- đź’§ 2 tbsp water
STEPS
Cut the processed cheese into three vertical slices.
Make a slit in the chikuwa, stuff it with processed cheese, and cut each piece in half.
Mix the batter ingredients (flour, mayonnaise, water) in a bowl, then add the chikuwa and coat evenly.
Place bonito flakes in a tray and coat the battered chikuwa with them.
Heat salad oil in a pot to 170°C and fry the chikuwa until golden brown, about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
