    • 🍗 1 piece (250g) chicken thigh
    • 1/2 bag bean sprouts
    • 🥕 1/3 carrot, julienned
    • đź§… A pinch of chopped green onion
    • 1/2 tbsp potato starch
    • đź§‚ A pinch of salt and pepper
    • 1/2 tbsp salad oil
  • Seasoning

    • 1 tbsp sake
    • 2 tbsp concentrated soy sauce
    • 1/2 tsp grated ginger
    • đź’§ 50cc water

Julienne the carrot.

Cut the thick parts of the chicken thigh to even out and season with salt and pepper.

In a microwave-safe bowl, mix carrot, bean sprouts, potato starch, and the seasoning ingredients. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and microwave at 600W for 2 minutes. Stir well, cover again, and microwave for another 2 minutes.

Heat salad oil in a frying pan over low heat. Place chicken skin-side down and press with a spatula. Remove excess fat with paper towels while cooking for about 8 minutes.

Flip the chicken and cook for another 4 minutes. Turn off the heat and let it rest for 2 minutes to finish cooking with residual heat.

Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces, plate, and pour the bean sprout sauce over. Garnish with chopped green onion.
