- 🍗 200g chicken tenders, trimmed
Vegetables
- 4 shiso leaves, halved
Condiments
- 1 tbsp ume paste

Flour
- 1 tbsp potato starch
Oil
- 1 tbsp salad oil
STEPS
Cut shiso leaves in half lengthwise.
Slice chicken tenders horizontally to create a pocket and season with salt and pepper.
Spread 1/4 tbsp of ume paste inside each chicken pocket, place 2 shiso leaf halves inside, and coat the chicken with potato starch.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat, add the chicken, cook until browned, flip, cover with a lid, and steam on low heat for 3 minutes until fully cooked.
