INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 🍗 200g chicken tenders, trimmed
- 5 shiso leaves, finely sliced
- 1 umeboshi, pitted and mashed
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp sake
- đź§‚ 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tbsp potato starch
STEPS
Remove stems from shiso leaves and slice finely. Pit and mash the umeboshi.
Chop the chicken tenders into coarse pieces.
In a bowl, mix chicken, shiso, umeboshi, and all seasonings. Divide into 8 portions and shape into balls.
Place the balls in a microwave-safe container, cover loosely with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for 3 minutes. Flip them over, cover again, and microwave for another 2 minutes. Let them rest covered for 1 minute.
