INGREDIENTS
Main
- 🍗 100g chicken tender, trimmed
- 🥬 160g napa cabbage, sliced
- 🍄 100g nameko mushrooms
Seasoning
- đź§‚ Pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1/2 tsp yuzu pepper
Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- đź§‚ Pinch of salt
- 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/3 tsp dashi powder
- đź’§ 50ml water
STEPS
Slice napa cabbage into 3cm pieces and rinse nameko mushrooms to remove slime.
Slice chicken tender diagonally into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
Layer napa cabbage in a microwave-safe dish, place chicken on top, drizzle with sake, cover with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for 4 minutes.
In a saucepan, combine sauce ingredients, bring to a boil, add nameko mushrooms, yuzu pepper, and steaming liquid from step 3. Cook until thickened.
Plate the steamed chicken and cabbage, then pour the sauce over.
