INGREDIENTS
Wrapper
- 6 spring roll wrappers
Protein
- 🍗 200g chicken tenders, trimmed
Vegetable
- 🌱 6 green beans
Oil
- Enough salad oil for frying
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- đź§‚ 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp yuzu pepper
Binding
- 1 tbsp flour
- đź’§ 1 tbsp water
STEPS
Trim the ends of the green beans and cut them diagonally into thirds.
Slice the chicken tenders diagonally into 5mm thick pieces. Mix the seasoning ingredients in a bowl and add the chicken and green beans. Combine well.
Separate the spring roll wrappers one by one.
Place a wrapper with a corner facing down. Add 1/6 of the filling near the bottom corner. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold the sides inward, and roll tightly. Seal the end with a mixture of flour and water. Repeat for all wrappers.
Heat 2cm of salad oil in a frying pan to 160°C. Fry the spring rolls for 3–4 minutes until golden brown, then flip and fry for another 2–3 minutes.
