INGREDIENTS
Main
- 🍗 300g chicken thigh
- 3 tbsp flour
- Enough vegetable oil for frying
Marinade
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- đź§„ 1/2 tsp grated garlic
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
Batter
- 🥚 1 egg
- 3 tbsp water
- 50g flour
STEPS
Remove excess fat from the chicken thigh and cut into bite-sized pieces.
In a bowl, mix the chicken pieces with sake, soy sauce, grated garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil. Massage well and let marinate for 15 minutes.
In a separate bowl, mix the egg and water, then add 50g of flour and stir gently to create the batter.
Lightly coat the marinated chicken pieces with 3 tbsp of flour.
Heat vegetable oil in a pan to 170°C (about 2cm depth). Dip the chicken pieces into the batter and fry for 4–5 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through.
