INGREDIENTS
Rice
- 🍚 2 bowls cooked rice (300g)
Meat
- 🍗 125g chicken thigh
Vegetables
- đź§… 100g sliced onion
- 🍄 3 sliced mushrooms
Oil
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Cheese
- đź§€ 30g pizza cheese
Sauce
- 1/2 can demi-glace sauce
- đź’§ 2 tbsp water
- đź§‚ Pinch of salt and pepper
STEPS
Slice the onion thinly and remove the core. Slice the mushrooms thinly.
Cut the chicken thigh into bite-sized pieces.
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until the color changes. Add onion and mushrooms, and sauté until the onion softens and the chicken is cooked through.
Add demi-glace sauce, water, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir and heat on low until the sauce becomes smooth.
Place cooked rice in a heatproof dish. Pour the sauce over the rice and top with pizza cheese. Bake in a toaster oven for about 5 minutes until the cheese is golden brown.
