INGREDIENTS
Vegetables
- 🍄 2 packs king oyster mushrooms
- 1 green chili
- 1 red chili
- đź§… 1/3 stalk spring onion
Seasonings
- đź§‚ 0.5 tsp salt
- 1.5 tbsp perilla oil
- đź§„ 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- ✨ A pinch of sesame seeds
STEPS
Clean the king oyster mushrooms by trimming the base and rinsing lightly under running water. Slice them lengthwise and cut into even pieces.
Slice the spring onion and both green and red chilies into similar shapes. Remove chili seeds in water to avoid messiness.
Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add 1 tbsp perilla oil. Stir-fry 1 tbsp minced garlic until fragrant.
Add the sliced king oyster mushrooms to the pan and season with salt and pepper. Stir-fry over medium heat until the mushrooms release water.
Once the mushrooms soften, add the spring onion and chilies. Stir well.
Finish by adding oyster sauce for extra flavor and stir-fry on high heat until the dish is dry.
Sprinkle sesame seeds before serving for added texture and presentation.
