    • 🌭 4 sausages
    • 🧀 50g pizza cheese
    • 1 tbsp salad oil

  • Batter

    • 150g pancake mix
    • 🥚 1 egg
    • 🥛 120ml milk
    • 🧂 1 pinch salt

Cut the sausages into 4 equal pieces.

Mix all batter ingredients (pancake mix, egg, milk, salt) in a bowl.

Heat the takoyaki pan to medium heat and lightly grease with salad oil using a paper towel. Cook the sausage pieces for 2–3 minutes until heated through, then remove.

Pour the batter into the takoyaki pan, filling each cavity about 70%. Place a sausage piece on half of the cavities and a small portion of pizza cheese on the other half. Lower the heat once bubbling starts.

Using a skewer, flip the sausage-topped batter onto the cheese-topped batter to combine. Turn off the heat and let the residual heat cook the batter until golden brown, about 2–3 minutes. Repeat until all batter is used.
