    • sufficient salad oil
  • Egg Mixture

    • 🥚 2 eggs
    • đź§‚ 1 tsp soy sauce
    • 1/3 tsp aonori (green seaweed powder)
    • 1/4 tsp dashi powder
    • đź’§ 1 tbsp water

Fill the hole of the chikuwa with shredded cheese.

In a bowl, mix all the egg mixture ingredients thoroughly.

Heat a thin layer of salad oil in a frying pan and pour 1/3 of the egg mixture.

When the egg starts to set, place the chikuwa at the far end of the pan and roll it towards you. Repeat this process two more times with the remaining egg mixture.

Cut the rolled omelette into bite-sized pieces.
