Celery and Bacon Consomme Soup

    • 🥓 2 slices bacon
  • Vegetables

    • 🥬 1/2 stalk celery with leaves
    • đź§… 1/4 onion (50g), sliced
  • Seasonings

    • 1/2 tsp consomme powder
    • đź§‚ 1/3 tsp salt
    • Pinch of pepper
    • đź’§ 400ml water

Separate celery stalks and leaves. Remove strings from the stalk and slice diagonally. Chop leaves into 5mm pieces. Slice the onion thinly.

Cut bacon into 1cm wide strips.

In a pot, add bacon, onion, and seasonings (consomme, salt, pepper, and water). Heat over medium heat until boiling. Add celery stalks and simmer on low heat for 2 minutes until the onion softens.

Pour the soup into bowls and garnish with celery leaves.
