INGREDIENTS
Vegetables
- 🥬 250g cabbage, chopped
- 🧅 Chopped green onion, as needed
Canned Goods
- 🐟 70g canned tuna, drained
Seasonings
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
- 🧂 2 tsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp sake
- 1 tsp mirin
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
Thickener
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 💧 1 tbsp water
Liquid
- 💧 500ml water
STEPS
Chop the cabbage into bite-sized pieces.
Heat sesame oil in a pot over medium heat and sauté the cabbage.
Add drained tuna and the seasoning ingredients (sake, mirin, ginger, water) to the pot and bring to a boil.
Cover the pot and simmer on low heat for 10 minutes until the cabbage softens.
Add salt and soy sauce, mix well, then stir in the cornstarch slurry to thicken the soup.
