INGREDIENTS
Seafood
- 🦑 1 squid (200g)
Vegetables
- 🥦 1/2 head broccoli
- đź§… 10cm green onion
- đź§„ 1 clove garlic
Oils
- 1 tbsp salad oil
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp doubanjiang
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1/3 tsp chicken stock powder
- đź’§ 100ml water
Thickener
- 1/2 tbsp cornstarch
- đź’§ 1 tbsp water
STEPS
Separate broccoli into small florets. Slice green onion into rings and mince garlic.
Clean squid by removing entrails, cartilage, and skin. Cut tentacles into 3cm pieces and body into 2cm strips.
Mix all sauce ingredients (sake, soy sauce, doubanjiang, ketchup, chicken stock powder, water) in a bowl.
Steam broccoli in a pan with 2 tbsp water for 1 minute, then drain.
Heat salad oil and garlic in a pan until fragrant, then add squid and stir-fry until it changes color.
Add broccoli and green onion to the pan and stir-fry until softened.
Pour the sauce into the pan and stir-fry briefly.
Add cornstarch slurry and cook until the sauce thickens.
Drizzle sesame oil over the dish before serving.
