INGREDIENTS
Shrimp Preparation
- 🦐 120g peeled shrimp
- 1/2 tbsp sake
- 🧂 1/6 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
Vegetables
- 🥦 1/2 head broccoli
- 1/2 stalk minced scallion
Seasoning and Sauce
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
- 💧 1 tbsp water
- 1 1/2 tbsp sake
- 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
- 🧄 1/3 tsp grated garlic
- a pinch of pepper
STEPS
Remove the veins from the peeled shrimp, rinse with water, and pat dry with a paper towel. In a bowl, combine shrimp, sake, and salt, then coat with cornstarch.
Separate the broccoli into small florets and peel and thinly slice the stems. Mince the scallion.
In a bowl, mix all the ingredients for the scallion salt sauce (★).
Heat sesame oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add broccoli and stir-fry for about 2 minutes. Add water, cover with a lid, and steam over low heat for another 2 minutes.
Add the shrimp to the pan and stir-fry over medium heat until the shrimp changes color. Add the scallion salt sauce (★) and stir until everything is well combined.
