  • Vegetables

    • 🥦 1 head broccoli (about 250g)
    • 🍄 1 pack maitake mushrooms (about 100g)
  • Seafood

    • 🦪 6 scallops
  • Seasoning

    • 1/2 piece ginger
    • A dash of sake
    • Cornstarch as needed
    • 1 tsp sesame oil
    • A dash of pepper
  • Sauce

    • đź’§ 1/2 cup water
    • 1 tsp cornstarch
    • 1/2 tsp chicken stock powder
    • đź§‚ 1/4 tsp salt
    • A dash of pepper

STEPS

Cut broccoli into bite-sized pieces and separate maitake mushrooms.

Pat scallops dry and coat lightly with cornstarch.

Mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl and set aside.

Heat sesame oil in a pan over medium heat. Add ginger and sauté until fragrant.

Add scallops and stir-fry until lightly browned. Remove and set aside.

Add broccoli and maitake mushrooms to the pan. Stir-fry for 2–3 minutes.

Return scallops to the pan and pour in the sauce. Stir until thickened.
