INGREDIENTS
Fish
- 🐟 200g salmon fillet, cut into 4 pieces
Vegetables
- 🥦 1/2 head broccoli, cut into florets
Seasoning
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
Cooking Essentials
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp sake
Sauce
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 🥢 1 tbsp soy sauce
STEPS
Cut the salmon fillet into 4 pieces and season with salt and pepper. Coat with cornstarch.
Cut the broccoli into bite-sized florets.
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the salmon and cook until browned on one side, then flip.
Add broccoli to the pan and pour sake over it. Cover with a lid and steam for 3 minutes.
Add the sauce ingredients (mirin, sugar, soy sauce) to the pan and stir until the sauce thickens and coats the salmon and broccoli.
