Vegetables
- 🥦 1/2 head broccoli
- 🧅 1/2 onion, sliced
Protein
- 🐟 2 salmon fillets
Seasoning
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
Cooking Essentials
- Enough flour for coating
- 1/2 tbsp olive oil
- 🧈 10g salted butter
Sauce
- 1 tbsp whole-grain mustard
- 1/2 tsp consomme
- 100ml heavy cream
- 🥛 150ml milk
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
STEPS
Separate broccoli into small florets and microwave for 2 minutes at 600W. Slice the onion thinly.
Cut the salmon into bite-sized pieces, season with salt and pepper, and coat with flour.
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat, cook the salmon on both sides, and remove from the pan.
Wipe the pan clean with a paper towel, melt butter, and sauté the onion and broccoli over medium heat.
Once the onion softens, add the sauce ingredients and mix well.
Bring the sauce to a boil, then simmer on low heat for 3 minutes. Add the salmon back to the pan to warm through.
