INGREDIENTS
Fish
- 🐟 2 pieces yellowtail collar (300g)
Vegetables
- 🥬 10cm daikon (300g)
- 2 slices ginger
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🧂 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 💧 200ml water
STEPS
Cut the daikon in half lengthwise, then slice into 2cm thick pieces.
Bring a pot of water to a boil, blanch the yellowtail collar briefly, then rinse under cold water to remove blood and scales. Pat dry with paper towels.
In a frying pan, combine the seasoning ingredients (sake, sugar, mirin, soy sauce, water) and ginger. Bring to a gentle boil, then add the yellowtail collar and daikon. Spread them evenly and place a drop lid. Simmer on low heat for 15-20 minutes.
