INGREDIENTS
Fish
- 🐟 1 whole tuna
- 🧂 A pinch of salt
- A pinch of pepper
- Adequate amount of cornstarch
Vegetables
- 🧅 1/2 stalk green onion
Soy Sauce Mix
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 2 tbsp oligosaccharide
- A pinch of ginger powder
- 🍋 A splash of lemon juice
- 💧 2 tbsp water
STEPS
Rinse the tuna under running water, cut into bite-sized pieces, and soak in rice wine for 20 minutes.
Remove excess moisture from the tuna and coat it evenly with cornstarch in a bag.
Heat a pan, add garlic for aroma, and pan-fry the tuna until golden brown on both sides.
Prepare the sauce by mixing soy sauce, mirin, oligosaccharide, ginger powder, lemon juice, and water. Add chopped green onion.
Reduce the heat to low, pour the sauce over the tuna, and simmer while flipping occasionally.
Once the sauce thickens and the tuna is fully cooked, serve the braised tuna hot.
