    • 1 tbsp gochujang
    • 1 tbsp chili powder

    • 1 tbsp corn syrup
    • 1 tsp sesame oil
    • 1 tsp sesame seeds

STEPS

Cut tofu into bite-sized pieces and season lightly with salt. Use paper towels to remove excess moisture.

Heat a pan with grape seed oil and fry the tofu until golden brown on both sides.

Prepare the braising sauce by mixing soy sauce, gochujang, chili powder, garlic, sugar, corn syrup, sesame oil, and sesame seeds.

Slice the onion thickly and layer it at the bottom of a pot.

Place the fried tofu on top of the onion layer.

Pour the prepared sauce over the tofu and onion.

Cook on high heat until boiling, then reduce to medium heat and simmer until the sauce thickens and becomes glossy.
