INGREDIENTS

- 🥔 3-4 potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 20 small shishito peppers
- đź§„ 1 tbsp minced garlic
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1 tsp doenjang (Korean soybean paste)
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- đź§‚ 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp mirin (cooking wine)
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp corn syrup
STEPS
Peel and chop the potatoes into uniform pieces. Rinse under cold water and drain well.
Mix 1 tbsp sugar, 2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp mirin, and 1 tsp sesame oil in a small bowl to prepare the sauce.
Heat a pan with a little oil and add the potatoes. Sauté until they turn golden brown.
Add 1 tbsp chili powder, 1 tsp doenjang, and 1 tbsp gochujang to the pan. Stir-fry on low heat until fragrant.
Pour in the prepared sauce and 1 cup (180ml) of water. Stir well and bring to a boil.
Add the shishito peppers, 1 tbsp minced garlic, and 1 tbsp corn syrup. Mix well and simmer until the sauce thickens.
