Beef and Komatsuna Sesame Salad

    • 🥩 100g sliced beef
  • Vegetables

    • 200g komatsuna (Japanese mustard spinach)
  • Seasoning

    • 3 tbsp white sesame seeds
    • 🍬 1 tsp sugar
    • 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
    • 2 tbsp dashi stock

Trim the roots of the komatsuna and wash thoroughly to remove dirt.

Boil water in a pot, add a pinch of salt, and blanch the komatsuna in batches for 30 seconds to 1 minute. Drain and cut into 3cm pieces.

Boil water in another pot, add the sliced beef, and cook until fully done. Drain the beef.

In a bowl, mix the seasoning ingredients (white sesame, sugar, soy sauce, dashi stock). Add the komatsuna and beef, and toss to combine.
